Lake Kenisis
Acrylic on live edge wood | 36 ¼ x 10 ½ inches | 2025
On a four excursion in Haliburton Forest, I drove around Kenisis Lake and found a nice spot to take pictures. This one was definitely paint worthy. I love using the wood and the edge of the wood to incorporate details of the scenery, in this case the rocks. When you look close you can see the lines in the wood have been accented by paint to create little pebbles.
