Pebble in the Sand

Standing in the sand and letting the water run over your feet is one of the best feeling, soothing and relaxing and washing the cares away. That is what this painting brings to me, as I painted this in the midst of winter snowstorms, maybe I was just wishing to be on a beach somewhere with my toes in the warm sand and water. Pebbles get tossed around a bit more and get layers taken off over time, but I am sure they appreciate the gentle flow of water every once in a while.
